Hi,
My version of Cross DJ FREE stop on the launch / splash screen and shows 'not responding' in the 'Force Quit Applications' dialog?
I've tried Force Quite on it a few times and waited a few minutes before I do that but I still can't get it to start?
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Alan.

Hi, Also Welcome to MixVibes,
First thing (given the issue) would be to have it running with Mac only.
If you tried, please remove the mixvibes.settings file.
Not on Mac, so please check exact path yourself.
In Win it looks like
c:\users\username\apps\roaming\mixvibes\mixvibes.settings.
then start Cross.
If it doesn't work reinstall software (uninstall first AND remove the above file manually again before reinstall).
If it works, plug in the sc and start Cross again (Cross only checks for soundcards and MIDI devices at startup).
... let's know the result in case further support is needed.

Hi,
Thanks for your quick reply and help. One of the things you asked me to try has worked and I can now start the app. Thanks very much.
I disconnected the UAD Apollo and switched to internal mac sound.
I deleted the mixvibes.settings file and tried to run again.
I uninstalled (on mac by running launchpad and deleting app)
I re-installed from app store and tried to run again but it still didn't work.
Then I tried a full restart and it works, even when using the Apollo sound as the output.
Thanks very much. Fingers crossed it will continue to start.
Alan.

If you hadn't restart after connecting the device it is likely the driver hadn't finished installing.
Be aware that connecting the device to an other usb port may require another reboot.
Many MIDI and audio devices have this way of working.

Hi,
Sorry, I started up my mac this morning, ran Cross DJ and had the same problem where it wouldn't get past the launch screen.
I then went through each step I had done before, restarting after each one, but still had the problem.
Is there anything else I can try?
Thanks,
