Hi all,
Purchased Cross DJ a couple days ago and I'm having a little trouble using it with my Numark Mixdeck Quad. When I connect my laptop to the mixdeck quad I am able to use my left side of the controller just fine and get audio out to my speakers. The right side which is set to channel 4 will show that it is playing on the laptop, I am able to pause play que, loop etc. and can visually see it doing those functions on computer screen but no audio output when I slide the chan 4 fader up. I have double checked that I am on the MIDI USB2 selection on that channel, that channels gain is set correctly etc. Please help. I have a gig on Friiday and would love to use Cross DJ during my performance.

weel lets get the prelimary out of the way and regerster your software in the fourm,
user control panel/profile /serial # .. which is the licence key
next a link dfor the controller

and any info to your set up ie o/s and sound card ,, screen shots of your audio config and also what mapping you are useing for the controller .. plus any other info that you think will help us in figuring out what you have going on ,,

Thank you, I will try to post that ASAP. Is there a phone number to call someone direct at mixvicbes/Cross DJ. I didn't expect to have to fumble thru a forum to get help. Talking to a live person would be great. Anyone no of a number to call?

dont know of any # ,, and not familiar with the controller to aid to that extent ,, yes fumbling thru the fourm is nerve racking ,, but right now its a source of info ,, ,,so the info will start the process and the manual might clear up some issues ,, best i can offer ,, welcome

Ok I added my license key to my profile. I have it installed on my HP laptop connected to the Numark Mixdeck Quad which the software shows as being a controller which is already mapped and supposed to be ready to use. Let me know what specific info you need. Right now I'm using the mapping that is in the software itself and my left deck works perfectly, all buttons knobs etc, work fine, audio is ouputed thru left deck etc. The right deck I can see on screen the buttons being pressed and the jogwheel etc works. I can also see visually on screen that the song is playing but no audio output.

Try changing audio mode to dual stereo. Likely it now is external mixer

If not please post a capture of your audio settings tab and of the Cross interface.

I just switched it to dual stereo as you suggested.Now I need to know how to post a screenshot to this forum lol.

Audio to the speakers now can be heard from the left deck correctly and the right deck will output sound... but not thru the correct slider. It plays thru channel 1 slider on top of the track I am playing on left deck or if I pause the left deck I can hear the right decks track and turn it up and down with the channel 1 slider which is obviously not right. and I dohave ch1 slider set to MIDI usb1 and channel 4 slider set to MIDI usb2.

at the bottom of the posting page there is a tab for up loading attachments ,, use that to post screen shots ,, ,, also post a screen shot of your gui in the right hand upper coner where the mix/master knob is at ,, starting to get it straight but still some missing pieces ,,

I'm sorry but I do not see a tab for uploading attachments???
