Possible bug in FX or internal audio routing

Have been trying out Cross DJ for a while, coming from other HW/SW in the market and so far I am quite surprised with your software. Congratulations!
Today I think I found a small thing that is difficult to occur, but since your software is so stable and well behaving, I think that you'll enjoy having this one solved as well.
Last night I was DJing for a while. Then at the end of the session I used Brake FX to finish the set. Forgot to have it switched off and closed the computer with CrossDJ running.
Today I went to the computer to organize my collection and disconnected from my VMS4.1 to do it somewhere else. Changed the output to internal soundcard and internal mixer "Simple stereo".
When I pressed play on an already loaded deck (from yesterday) I heard only "static noise" like with a disconnected old TV.
Went to verify lots of things like CPU and memory load and all were fine. Then I realised the Brake FX was on and switched it off and voilá! Sound works again! So Brake FX instead of muting the channel it was generating noise?
This is not a very important issue, but it could be connected to something more serious, so I post it for you...
My setup is:
MacBook Air (13-inch, Mid 2012)
1,8 GHz Intel Core i5
8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Intel HD Graphics 4000 1024 MB
256 GB SSD
American Audio VMS4.1 (with MixVibes firmware ver 6)
