Hi, quick question and apologies if it has been answered elsewhere.
Would it be possible to run Cross as a vst plugin? I wish to run it through logic..perhaps through soundflower?
Any advice much appreciated
thanks and peace

No you can not run Cross as a VST......
It's something us Mixvibes users have wanted for years
The closest Mixvibes got was the old DVS 7 ...you could plug vst into DVS and scratch the instrument
If you just want to plug Cross into one off the audio channel in your DWS.....that is easy ....use sound flower or jacks audio / MIDI
You can

Nope. AFAIK only Decadance does that.
As has already been mentioned, the closest thing we have is using JACK to route audio into a DAW, and using the Crossclock mod to get MIDI sync into it. I couldn't get it to run without massive latency but then again I need to update my macbook to one with an actual processor not a rat in a wheel. Please note, crossclock mod is a bit kludgy and hopefully we will see MIDI clock out being implemented natively eventually. Then again, even Serato doesn't have that yet.

It would require major changes to Cross. Of which limiting functions would be one. Cross uses towards 100% of CPU and quite some memory when used full power (>10 videos, >18 audio, 2 vid effect + 2 audio effect + vid overlay.)
Wouldn't be my definition of a usable VST plugin.
(but agree it could be nice...)
