Hello guys, I am using Cross for about three years now. I will specify my setup first - Notebook Lenovo IdeaPad z510 (8Gb Ram) using U46MK2 with two turntables and mixer.
I cant get Cross properly working - and I am really desperate

I did maintainance recovery few days ok

(before that i used version 3.10 with Windows 8.1 for 6 months working)

In Windows 8 I am experiencing death screens (i posted my problem here viewtopic.php?f=358&t=32695 > solution was upgrade to 8.1)

But NOW when I upgrade to 8.1 (from clean recovery - i get Run Time error C ++ - in log it says that issue is concerning KernelBase.dll and Cross cant be even lanched !!!!!!!!!!) - i tried also different versions - nothing (I reinstalled my computer five times during weekend :(()

Now I am running Windows 8 with those blue screens of death if I unplug USB (in log it is associated to Kernel Power error)

Edit: I got it working on 8.1 now - but it seeems that some particular tracks in collection is causing crash of appliacation. I analysed 5900 tracks from 6000 - but before the last 100 was finished it crash. Now I am getting everytime I go on that file - I am trying to minimize this number of files and then try to get rid of them - but how can music tracks cause breakdown od DJ app?

 Sorry about the no reply ,, most users dont reply due to not having knowledge about the issues in the posting ,,myself is one  ,,just curious does Cross run with out the tc set up ,,meaning not useing the u46mk2 and the turntables ,,,,useing the installed sc ,, just trying to see if the Cross program files have some how become corrupted ,,
also what event happened between the time it was running well and now that its not ,, something has changed ,, this will be the cause of the problem  ,,know this is not much help ,,

If Cross doesn't start deleting mixvibes. Settings file in your user profile or renaming might help.

Might it be you are using asio4all v11. I've had Bsod issues with this on several audio programs. The 11beta worked. Using v12 for a few days only but seems ok to.

Bsod nowadays are in most cases related to hardware.

Thank you guys for response

Cross wasnt working at all on Windows 8.1 - it was not even connected to U46MK - first thing that I did after update Windows was just clean install of U46Mk drivers from this forum (version 3.0) and new Cross.

Now I have Cross application working on Windows 8.0 but when I am playing and unplug U46MK2 USB cabel computer goes to blue death - when I go to Options and Switch From Mixvibes to Stereo speakers and unplug - it is ok.

I would prefer to have 8.1 with no issue - but I am playing at on event so I need rather to focus on music then reinstall computer all the time :(

RojeC: I tried that when I had 8.1 i deleted all Mixvibes folder from C: Users and it didnt help.

I am using drivers from this website all the time not Asio4ALl but Mixvibes version 3.0
BTW can u hand me out the link about version u talking about pls?

Of course I am not doing that on purpose but it happened to me few times in Club -
and if Cross is working correctly - nothing happenes in this case - playback stops but u can plug it in and go on -
but in my case I have to wait for restart of my PC.

Its just - I wanna feel save during mixing
I am angry cause my laptop is one year old - but due to this problems I am sorry that havent buy Mac.

Asio4all. Com

Does your laptop run with latest firmware and bios.
I assume all os updates have been applied. ..

Old fashioned way would be to remove sc driver in Windows hardware.
Then run a clean up. I use ccleaner.

Then install. It is a way to have some more lower level values reset.

Guess you're not running other audio programs in parallel. ..

Yes all updates on OS applied, and have updated BIOS and Chipset drivers too....

I currently have just Cross installed - and now I had serious of other crashes - not connected to U46MK just sorting music on desktop and Runtime error even in Windows 8

SO NOW MY Cross IS NOT in usable state

in log it goes to another dll - srsly whats wrong here with my PC?

I did check with CCCleaner yesterday - I guess that something is terribly wrong - but it affects only Cross - could be the version problem?

EDIT: During browsing track in Windows I just got Run Time error casused by Cross itself (RC 3.3.0)
