i used video colection and now switched to audio collection. i'm keeping them separalty. there are many reasons to to that... :)

What would be your reason to keep it separate. Pretty curious as other than size of collection I can only see disadvantages.

I integrated as much as possible and find it pretty convenient to have mixed it and keep audio and video tracks in sync as much as possible (regarding titles, artists, playlists, etc), also the ability to combine audiotracks with other video seems an advantage to me..

So please share your thoughts

different collections, totally..
when it's audio, it's audio, when it's video then i'll added some of the songs (no video) to separate playlist..
videos are on external disc :)

 are you switching between collection while mixing/track playing
and do you think having the vids on a external hdd seperate might be the culprit ,, :?:

i just checked video collection, what i do need add to it and changeing back to audio collection, nothing was playing. and i dont think that was the reason for crash :)
now it's about 20k audios and 20k video, thats the main reason to keep them in different collections..
