Hi,
I apologize I've searched for this but can't find it, though I'm sure it must have been answered a thousand times. I have Cross DJ 3.2.0 installed on my old laptop with a valid license key. I just bought a new laptop and would like to use Cross DJ on it instead of the old one. When I download Cross DJ on the new computer it reports "invalid license" when I enter the key. What do I need to do to install it? Thanks in advance!

Did you enter the key as it is in your User Profile?

I entered the "serial number" from my user profile (which I guess is the same as the lisence key). This is the same key I first used when I downloaded Cross DJ 2.2.0 on my old laptop a couple years ago.

... just a note: my train leaves in a few minutes and I won't be able to reply until this evening at earliest. Thanks again!

Seems OK; recomment to copy/paste the whole key (if you did it manual before).
Not sure what could go wrong, unless it appears your key has been used 'to often'. Which shouldn't be if it is just 2 devices.
A next try could be to reinstall Cross. No idea what this should fix, but takes a few minutes only... (make sure you have admin rights)
I did some search (like as well as you did) and couldn't find any other solution mentioned for Cross versions.
Please let's now the result.. A solution will be found...

Hi RoJec,
my old computer is the only computer I've ever installed it on to now- I just reinstalled it and copy/pasted the serial number but still says "invalid key".
Cheers,
Creigh

..if you copied it from the profile /serial # ,,then it should be correct ,, it has to be entered case sensitive ,, dash also ,, if no joy then pm unclevibes with the info to sortout ,,
also check the original cd install disk jacket for confirmation that it was entered correctly in your profile ,

update: tried installing the old "Cross DJ U-Mix Control Pro" ver 1.7.0 software from the original CD on the new computer and still get the "invalid key" when using the serial number from my profile page. Unfortunately, I can't currently locate the original key delivered with the installation cd- I probably thought at the time that if it is listed on the profile page, I can always refer back to it there (and it never occured it could possibly be wrong).
Haven't heard back from UncleVibes yet...
