best way to play generic videos for mp3s?

So this and only this is what is preventing me from using mixvibes instead of serato for club use: I for the life of me cannot figure out how to play videos RANDOMLY for a mp3 file I happen to load. Serato has an excellent way of doing this by havig a folder called media for which you can drop random videos and visualizations to be played when a non video file is played. I have like 15000 songs and videos which are mixed and cannot afford the time it would take to associate every file with a video. I know there is the video sampler which is really neat and that I can load various random videos in that which I can turn on for every non video file but it takes up valuable screen real estate and has to be manually turned on.
So what do you guys think? Am I an idiot and missing something right in front of my face? Or maybe this is an issue which is actively being develped?
