Buffer size?

Postby justinnicholas32 on 12 Jul 2014, 22:50

Hi guys, hope you're all well.

While having a mix this evening, everything was going well until I started to mix in a tune that was an extended version about 10 minutes long.

It played fine, but felt like it was dragging on a bit.

Could this be due to the buffer size? And if is what buffer size is recommended?

As always, thanks a lot for your time

As from 3.2.0 buffersize is on or off. The value shown in the preferences menu is wrong (will be fixed in next).

Buffersize usually is not a primary cause for audio problems.

unless you're talking buffer size for soundcard.

Can you provide more information ? I dont know what "Played fine but dragging on a bit" means. If it played fine, whats the problem ? Can you try and be a bit more descriptive of the issue ?

thanks.
