Hi there one final problem im having when recording. I am using a set of Pioneer CDJ 400'S with Cross DJ, everything is working fine when mixing however when i press record it records absolutely nothing, on the record tab under settings it's recording the "mix" rather then a or b , but if i set it to an individual one it records just not the mix.

Help!

Many Thanks

Do you use an external mixer?

With external mixer you need the to record the output of your mixer (since that's where all the sound action takes place) which means connecting its output back to laptop. You could perhaps use your laptop line input (if there is one) or another soundcard to record.
