on my system I uninstall a few of the previous version and I may have remove my original install with the licenses that could be the beginning of Cross showing up as free how do I solve this problem

the above link is to the download section ,, download the latest version ,,Cross for PC or mac ,, if you have misplaced the licence key it should be safly stored in your user profile ,, use it if ask for licence key when installing

did all that and remove all Cross installation then re-install and nothing changes. where is the registration command in the software it use to have it and why is it remove or place somewhere else

Cross ask for licence at startup. The Cross free does not. It really are different installations with different programs being installed.
Please check your start menu /programs for the installed versions to make sure you start the right link.

I remove all Cross from system then download from the link in the message and the result is still the same after the installation is complete
