Gain in External Mixer

Hello good morning,

This is an issue that has me pretty pissed with Cross despite everything I like ... If you set Cross for mixing in external mode stop seeing equalizers and other screen up there all right, but what if all songs distort? There is no way you can lower the gain so that the volume comes out clean, I have to say that I set the limiter, also to analyze songs to recognize the gain and unfortunately even take off that tab and look again keeps crashing .. If this problem .. edit I put on a pedestal (which you deserve), but for now this simple problem precludes me enjoy it: (.

A greeting.

P.D: Using Cross 3.2.0

P.D2: Google Translate :P

 I think the issue is with your sound config ,,ie sound distortion ,, missing faders in external mode required due to fact of using a external mixer and controlled by those faders ,, can you post screen shots of sound config and also info as to set up and sc used,, might shed some light ,,

There should be no need for reducing gain when using analyzed tracks. Should be line level.

You could check if the prefernces setting "Read Gain at track load' is enabled.

Translating might give some fog in here, but please try to describe what distortion it is. Could be various causes depending on the sound.

What is your setup, hardware, using ASIO driver, increased latency.. groundloop issue, have an input at mixer on Phone, ....

I've witnessed this both in 3.1.0 and 3.2.0. V3.0 plays everything correctly. Made a separate post about this here
