Question regarding import of music to Cross DJ 2.5

On my new computer I imported my iTunes library to Cross DJ 2.5 ( paid version ) I encountered two major problems


1. when I depress the iTunes node I only get 6258 songs ( I have 10,933 songs . ) in the collection tab It shows 19021 songs which half of the 19k in songs have red X'S next to the songs .


How can I resolve these issues .

Any reason why you're not using the current version (3.2.0)?
You can upgrade for free in the downloads section.

An X means it cannot find the track at the path. As you're using an older version looking for a cause will not help. Solution would be to go to menu | Collection | Resolve all missing tracks (in older version it was in main menu).

Select one track and point to right location. After that Cross will ask if it should check the others. If it is (something) with folder structure that changed (still could be an older error) than likely it will find many if not all. Maybe you need to do a few times. but likely not 1 by 1.

I have the same problem with the X'S next to the song . I went to the resolve missing tracks section and it will not allow me to do anything when depress next to the song . it only relocate or remove the track .

I did select the missing track resolver , it will only give me the option of relocating the track or removing the track . it won;t allow me to do nothing else

Have you figured out what was changed to need these files to be relocated ,,

Should not spend to much times on it. Both Cross as iTunes developed further in the last 2 years. Could be as little as a capital/non-capital issue or a space being written instead of trimmed.
