 intresting :?: ,,understand how tc is set up with a external mixeer,, controlling the vid with t c would work similiar to audio ,, but thinking you need to use the internal fader to transtion video ,,,,still pondering ,, best left to more informed people ,, i use a MIDI controller .. U-Mix Control Pro 2 ,,

 to my knowledge no,, the routing for external mixer ,,gives the audio signals to the mixer to control ,, wouldnt be able to do the same with the video signal,, ,, unless i am wrong you will need to control the gui fader either with MIDI control or keyboard short cuts ,,using the internal mixer   i might be wrong ,,still pondering

Unless your mixer is also a MIDI device with a connection for MIDI control back to the computer, your only options are to

1. Control the video with the mouse and GUI
2. Create keyboard shortcuts using MIDI mapping to control the fader
3. Buy a small MIDI controller to supplement your control

For a cheap one the unmarked Orbit comes to mind or a small Akai one.

If your muxer now moves the audio Cross fader you can link the video fader to the audio fader in the gui. In the middle of the screen. Left of the transition types is the small linl button for this.
