Hi, I'm Dave and I would really appreciate some feedback on some questions I have... or even with one answer/solution/feedback I would be very happy.
I used to work with Cross DJ on PC, now I'm trying to sort out Cross DJ for mac. I'm as well using music files directly from iTunes:
1. When I create a playlist, and then close and reopen Cross DJ, the playlist is still there, and I can play all songs without a problem. But when I export the playlist as a .m3u, and then delete that playlist, import it again, some tracks won't play anymore (red X). Strange thing is that some tracks are affected, others not... but if I delete that same playlist again and import it again, other tracks are affected. What can I do to prevent this?
2. In my PC edition of Cross DJ, I can set the detection sound level to 10db, so when a track gets loaded, it searches for the beginning of the song (starting at a minimum of 10db). Is that feature still available in the MAC version? I can't seem to find it, and tracks are starting only after a couple hundreds of a second. Ok, I know I can push the back button (seek) and set a CUE POINT... but I liked the feature to automatically start at the beginning of a track.
3. Played tracks used to get a darker grey color in the PC version... so I knew which songs were already played that night. Now they just stay white. Is there another option to see which tracks are already played?
4. I do use the program as a dance teacher, and I'm counting in BARS per minute. Now I found out the option to switch to bars, but for instance Rumba is something around 25 BARS per minute... but when I try to count it with the BPM counter, it seems like MV can't handle that slow tempo? Is that correct, can't I count slow tempo's (the bars option is set, and the slow option is set).
Or, in my PC version I was able to manually overwrite the BPM, so that it would reflect the bars instead of the beats, but it switches back after reloading a track. Can that feature be turned of?
Thanks you all!
