Hello I have purchased Cross DJ 3.1 and would like to know how to use the video sampler function. I go to preferences and click video tab and when i click activate video it says that the video plug in has failed to load. I went ahead and purchased the plug in and now when i go to enter the serial key it says it's invalid. Cross DJ also crashes after i try to activate video again. Any help would be appreciated!! Thanks!

2 different issues.
The video plugin does not provide video sampler. You should have upgraded to Cross full for that.
The plugin takes away the watermark in Cross DJ.
You could try sending a private message to unclevibes if you want to upgrade to Cross full will explaining why you purchased wrong.
If you want to have the plugin work instead please let us know.
Did you check if it worked after the restart?

Does Cross DJ 3.1 support just playing video files? I don't care about the watermark for now. Or do I need to upgrade to full Cross to take advantage of video playback. I did a restart and when I go to activate video it's still says failed to load video driver. Where do you drag a .mp4 file into deck A? it does this but it just looks like a short sound clip and not a video. Appreciate the help

Try uninstall video dll and then activate video in preferences.
Video are loaded same way as audio tracks to the deck.

If you select 'seperate A/V loading' in video preferences than you can load 'above' audio deckpart or 'outside' audio part. It is visual support by boxes showing where you're loading. But only if video is working.

If you have issue with a specific video, thirst thing is check out with an other program if the video is like you want it to be; In video it is not uncommon that downloaded files appear to have missing parts, with or without causing a crash.
If it is a video file than you can send it to the support team to have them try to resolve.

But let's first have the video in Cross DJ work for you. So, please try different video sources to make sure it is working as should before going into specific videos.

I cannot find a file named video.dll on my computer. I ran across Cross DJ on Apple's App store and in the details it said that OS X 10.7 or higher must be used for video playback. Since I had OS X 10.6.8 i upgraded to OS 10.7.5 figuring that was the issue. When i go to the video tab in preferences in Cross DJ i go to activate video check box and the same error comes up..failed to load video plugin...not sure what else to try here I would really enjoy using video along with audio with this program. Any insight/help would be appreciated

Seems like an issue that requires guidance by a MAC user.

All Cross 3.x have video support and have extensively been tested in iOS as well as Windows.
Does not help you at this moment, but might provide some confidence that it is going to work for you as well...

Thanx.
Basically the video plugin can't load because your video chip is not compatible ...
Cross needs OpenGL 2.0+ and the GMA950 on mac is stuck to OpenGL 1.4 ... This can't work. Sorry.
