Remap controls when using CDJs

I'm using Cross with my CDJ 350's and all is good, but I'd like to be able to remap some buttons to do things differently. I assumed I could do this in the MIDI section, but when I go there it says I have no MIDI devices connected.
I assume this is something todo with the HID thing.
Anyway, I noticed when you use BPM lock, it just matches the pitch, it doesn't do a sync play like the button in the software does. Is there anyway we could allow a remap so that you can do proper sync playing via CDJ's ? Perhaps an option so that Play does a sync play perhaps ? As at the moment I have to use trackpad to the button on the laptop and then press it.
