Disconnecting and reconnecting the controller issue

I wonder if this is a known issue: when Cross DJ is on and I disconnect the controller, then reconnect it, I need to restart Cross DJ in order for the software to get responsive again.

But why would you want to do this, especially with a inbuilt soundcard.

It's a bit daft if you ask me.

any video/sound application with have the same issue ,, not a good thing to do ,,
