When you place the mouse over the A or B input mode you get the menu for input type.

When you place the mouse over the C or D the tooltip say is for switching bank to deck mode but there is no button.

We used to be able to press the input mode in the GUI for C and D and switch mode from bank to deck and back.

Either the tooltip is wrong and needs to be taken out or the button to switch needs to come back.

Has anyone else noticed this?
Anyone from the support or development teams care to check it out or at least acknowledge this post?

yes noticed it and makes no sence ,,to have tool tips and function not work ,, checked preferences to see how you switch between players and samplers

There used to be a button for this there, but was not a good idea as this area is normaly dedicated to 'input switches'.

The only control (that I know off) in the GUI is in the top bar. The drop down icon allows for

Players 1+2 Samplers 1+2
Players 1+2+3 Sampler 2
Players 1+2+4 Sampler 1
Players 1+2+3+4

I agree with you Daniel. If there are going to be options for alternate inputs on Channels C and D then switching buttons are not a good idea until such time that they made available. However, if there are no plans to allow alternate inputs on channels C and D I thought that the button in that location within the mixer section to switch from player to sampler and back was a very good and logical idea.

In summary, I liked the button there to switch as there are no alternate input for channels C and D. I wish it would come back if there are no plans for alternate inputs. This is another feature that went away from 2.6 to 3.x.

There is also a MIDI command in the mapping aliases that allow for this operation. Versions 2, 3 (2 deck) and version 1 (4 deck) mappings that I posted have that command as Shift+ push bas skill.

In 3.2 the useless tooltip for switching decks to samplers and vice versa when hovering over C and D in the mixer section was never removed. Either there are the plans for something else or this report went to the bit bucket.
