I just upgraded to Cross as the idea of making video/music recording seems like a good way to go. The prblem I'm having is controlling the video mix.
I've got my CDJ2000s in HID but I would like to use the DJM2000nxs touch mdi screen to control the Vfx. Has anyone mapped this function. I'll be tring to map it myself tonight but I have to admit MIDI mapping has never been something I could do.
Another question is, If I set the record option to AUX will it pick up audio from my DJM connected via usb? I'll test later but thouth I'd ask just in case some one knew the answer or an alternative solution

Ok I've just about got everything set the way I want except MIDI control from DJM2000nxs. I love the record and upload functions with the tracks time stamped
I want to use the touch screen to control the video crossfader. Any ideas anyone

Have a look at the DJM mapping built in Cross.
It works like this:

No control at all. When I go to the Preference panel the DJM shows as being online and I can see a signal when touching the screen but nothing happens on Cross

Did you select the DJM mapping I told you about above?

Yes I selected the mapping. I wasn't sure when I did if the mapping was for the audio tracks or if would give control over the videos. Another strange thing is that I no longer have the CDJ2000 maps listed although the CDJs are working. It's a pity the HID doesn't give the full waveform or should it and I'm missing something to bring it to view
for some reason the the default mapping didn't work but I created a new one and managed to get the crossfader mapped, which is all I want.
