I've been encountering the same BPM sync problem too and have written about it in another post. I am re-posting part of it here. My issue is a BPM problem when I mix audio & video in the sample pad area 1-4. BPM starts to increase and I have to manually overwrite the BPM to desired beat and hit return. Songs sound like alvin & the chipmunks after a couple of mp4 videos play. It's almost like the BPM couner has a mind of its own. Can't operate like that.
Here is what I wrote in: viewtopic.php?f=358&t=32581&start=30

Hi FigDJ, when I load a full music video or mp3 into the sample pads in Deck C or D, after awhile the BPM (displayed in the bpm window next to Master/Sync buttons are much higher). They don't reset to what should be the proper BPM stored in the collection file upon loading & playing.
(Ex. I had a slow song at 84.00 BPM that when loaded and played on Deck D, played at 138.00 BPM! I have to literally click into the BPM window and type in the proper BPM then hit return. This can't be right! It happens pretty much on every song in the pad area.
Deck A & B seem to hold the BPM very well. It's only within the sample pad area that is the problem. (all of my pitch faders are half mast and mode set to MT....I never moved them when this happens)
I notice there are little Start/Stop buttons for Beatclock next to the Deck C & D labels. What the heck does the Beatclock do? Can't find anything in the maual on this. Is there an updated manual for 3.1 yet? Anyway, I did click on Beatclock <Stop> then <Start> and after a couple of times I got lucky with a BPM reset on Sample Pad D to proper song BPM. I also notice these round 'Sync-Meters' ?? going around on all of the deck labels when only 1 song or video is playing. Don't know why these go around or should be stopped or what???
I notice under Preferences-->Video tab there is a check box for 'Separate Audio/Video Loading. Could this be it? Mine is unchecked.
Hope we can get some answers...thanks
