Playing Cd's in Cross 3.0

I had a set the other day and for some reason i could not play cd's through Cross using my laptop's optical drive....is it even possible to play them through Cross 3?

I guess you mean audio CDs.

No, it's not possible on windows, and only partially working on mac (as OSX shows CD track as as AIFF files).

As a work around, what I usually do is play the CD in iTunes using that interface, and take the audio out of the computer output into my mixer. Granted, that work around will only fly for those that are running and external mixer or a sound card that has an input.
