Two colleagues and me, we bought the new Denon DN MC 6000 MK2 today. Denon claims native support of Cross. That means HID? Right? We connected Cross and Controller and it did not work. I took the MC 6000 mapping and changed some mappings to use it for the MK2. That is far away from HID. With my CDJs it works automatically. Any idea? Mapping the channels was easy, but the lights of the headphone cues not. Who can help? Is there a chance for a quick original mapping? Or even better HDI support? Greetz Dirk

I have looked around the forum for MC6000 mkII mappings, but couldn't find any. I had already posted the question if a mkII mapping from Cross was in the making, but received no answer.
I will be at Prolight+Sound (working for an exhibitor) early March and intend to buy a mkII there. I just sold my mkI last week and missing it sorely already :-)
It's the new flagship controller for Denon and I do hope that the support for the mkII will be as seamless as the support was for the mkI (which was excellent plug and play imho). And I hope it happens soon.
The Serato boys are pushing hard to upgrade the intro version that comes with the controller. So far I have no intention to move from Cross to Serato. The funny thing is I moved from Traktor to Cross because Serato wouldn't support the MC6000 and I didn't feel like buying a new controller just so I could use the software. That problem has now been solved. I am very happy with Cross and don't want to change software once again. But I also don't feel like spending lots of time to get a (custom) mapping up and running which possibly will not support all the features of the mkII.
Again compliments for all the good folks at Mixvibes. We all know you are working hard and bringing us new and exciting stuff at a very high frame rate. With a reputation as the DJ software that supports the greatest number of controllers "out of the box", it would be a pity if that didn't cover the MC6000 mkII real soon.

Just talked to a guy from Denon. He said there are some misunderstandings with Mixvibes and it still may take some time until an official mapping is released.
Could maybe anybody from the mixvibes crew offer a short statement what is happening and why there is no mapping available?
