Pleeeease! In 25 years of DJing this is the very most embarrassing moment of it. Cross crashed on me loading a song that I've used with every software available without any issues.
My computer exceeds by far the specs needed and never crashed with virtual DJ, serato or traktor... I'm very dissapointed, I'm writting this from my phone from the club since I've been replaced in the both because of this.

So sorry to learn that! When you have time tell us what were your actions before.
By the way let me tell you that we are working hard to make the soft as reliable as possible. Instructions for a next update are stability and cleaning before any new features.

OK, I wasn't doing nothing different from other sessions other than playing a video loop in the sampler (C) while playing audio in decks A and B using a pair of Pioneer CDJ 2000 with audio. I've never used the sampler before to play video and I was testing this new feature.
I've played the same video loops using decks A or B without any issues in 2.6
This time I had played for 45 minutes without issues and suddenly when loading a song which always played fine in deck B, Cross crashed and closed leaving a notice that it had a problem and need to close.
That's it.
I also had a couple of tabs of Firefox opened along with a couple of windows in the explorer as usually have when playing in other sessions, nothing different.
I know that sh** happens, but this time caught me with the fingers on the door.
I hope that Cross behave well in tomorrow's gig until you guys can give it better stability.

Reading this topic:
viewtopic.php?f=358&t=32482 I can remember that the crash happened when loading a MP3 in the deck that had a video clip loaded on it since that video was played before and I can almost assure that it was the only video played in that 45 min. session.
Maybe that's the problem or maybe its just coincidence.

Alright, saturday's gig went without issues other than a slight freeze in the output screen which I've noticed a couple of times when loaded some videos, this time I didn't used the samplers (C & D) and played the videos and video loops in decks A and B just like the old times.
I'm not going to touch the samplers for video until dev team say that it's safe to do so which I expect to be soon.

No matter the power of your PC, you should never be online or do anything else while djing asthere might be unexpected issues due to the system-tick, dma-conflicts, latency-spikes etc.
Maybe you could test-run the sampler prior to gigging to check for possible issues.

Well, that's the point. This system never crashed on me using other software and I can even chat, browse youtube and download music while I'm mixing, damn, in fact while doing all that stuff I can afford to use the latency at 1ms without crackles.
It's a fact that version 3 needs a revision, specially in the video area.
