Sorry i meant to add that i have a control pro 2 and i loaded the wrong firmware by accident....version 4.3 and now my controller wont communicate with my laptop.

Also prior to that my right jog wheel wouldnt work so that is why i was trying upgrade the firmware.

Please help!

Strange that one jogwheel suddenly stopped functioning.

Make sure you have the right MIDI device mapping selected in the preferences | MIDI screen

If this is ok: Try removing the device drivers fully (uninstall) via device manager.

Not sure what OS you''re on. So reboot...
Install right driver. And start plug in the controller in a different USB port (if/when ask by the install).

start Cross and check MIDI mapping again

No guarantees, but just excludes some potential cause.

I am operating on windows 7

Prior to installing the wrong firmware i tried uninstalling the drivers but had no luck....i saw that someone else had the same issue w their left jog wheel...but did not see a resolution

In desparation i thought upgrading the firmware would be the answer but i ended up screwing up my controller even more.

Dan i tried looking at that post and the link is no longer available for the firmware.

The jog wheel was working fine and then i took it to a gig and everytime i tried to use it kept pitching and bending the track.

Now my controller is not functioning at all and keeps blinking source a and b lights looking for a firmware upgrade

Sounds like you're in CDJ instead of VINYL mode.
