Hi. I have been mixing with Cross 3 on the DDJ -SR, withe DDJ-SX mapping. The problem I am having is with the cue knob settings. It seems like I can't only hear the cueing track without the main mix track and I can't figure it out...

:?: are you trying to control the cue knob with the hardware ,,does it act the same with mouse /gui control ,, if you have proper control with the interface then that points to a disimiliarty in the nessary mapping and the one you are using ,,if this is the case then you possibility can alter the mapping to get full responce/proper activation ,,

Somewhat little info as to what your settings; nevertheless an attempt to give some basic ideas to start with:
- pref | Audio | select a soundcard that has 2 or more Output channels (might need asio4all if none has on its own)
- select channels out main (=output 1)
- select channels out cue (=output 2)
- Select dual stereo (not single or split mono)

When dual stereo selected you have some more knob buttons at right top. One is called Mix. This one mixes Cue with Main. Really convenient if you need it....
The Cue fader is for volume of deck cue; collection Cue (Preview at right of track rack) is independent of Cue but use same audio channeling as cue.

First try screen controls. This excludes midi-mapping issues.

  hate to tell you this is correct ,, basic set up ,, should be able to seperate the master from the cue section ,, you said earlier that you are hearing the cue in the master m,, also it acts the same wheather you use MIDI controls or the gui interface
have you check the physical aspects of your set up ,,
hate too ask you to check the gui knob for mix or cue blend to make shure it turned all the way to cue ,,
something missing in the info as to whats going on ,,
:?: :?: :?:

mix fader is in middle instead of left for cue only. change on screen or by MIDI.
