Hi guys, all new to MV Cross.
I'm having problems simply hooking everything up. Cables, connection, what goes where etc. I'm using to Pio cdj 400's, Vestax PMC 05 Pro mixer, Cross 2.6, U46mk2, Lenovo Z500 with Intel i5 processor.
From reading the manual i have managed to hook up the U46 to the cdj's, mixer and also to my laptop correctly:
Inputs 1/2 & 3/4 are connected to Lines of each cdj
Outputs 1 & 2 are connected to Line 1 & 2 of mixer.
U46 is set to line.
The cdj's are operating the Cross player on my laptop as they should. My problem is there is nothing coming thru my mixer as if the mixer isn't hooked up at all. The power light is on but there are no input level lights, volumes do nothing, Cross fader does nothing etc etc. Because of this there is no audio at all. My mixer is hooked up to my stereo but there is no audio.
According to the manual, in the Preference menu>Audio tab i should have:
Output 1 - Output 2 - Output 3
MASTER - CUE - DIRECT A - DIRECT B
However in my preference menu i have
Output 1 - Output 2 - Output 3
MASTER - CUE - A - B - C - D
According to the manual, Output 3 is supposed to go to CUE but in my menu it goes to C & D.
I'm at dead end with this one. I'm not the most technologically minded when it comes to this sort of thing so i think its probably something simple/stupid that i haven't done right.
Hope someone can help.
