Headphones problem [Resolved]

Postby preacher_txc on 27 Jan 2014, 14:09

Hi! I have recently purchased a Power Dynamics PDC-10 controller which came with CrossDJ LE 2.6. I have installed it, as well as ASIO4ALL but I just can't get the headphones to work for audio preview no matter what setup I try. I either get the headphones to work as master output or not at all. I think the problem is that crossdj doesn't let me select the USB audio device as output 2 in the audio configuration, even though it DOES let me select it as input (for the microphone). Oh and I use windows 7 and also have a small Logilinck external soundcard and I have tried Asio4all 2.10 and 2.11(beta). I am also attaching a screenshot of my audio configuration/options.
Please HELP!
Thanks in advance,
T.Alexellis

In Asio4All, you must enable all the soundcards you want to use in Cross.

Here only one is enabled. Try to enable the C-Media USB Headphones.

yes, I have tried that and the problem remains. But even if it works, the headphones will only work through the c-media external card, while I want them to work when I plug them in my console.
Update: When I enable the C-media USB card even though Output 2 is supposed to play the cue audio, it plays the master again.

If both outputs ware working, check the 'Cue/Mix' knob in Cross, close to the master knob. It allows you to hear or not a bit of the master in your headphones.

OK, that was the problem :) No external card selected, asio4all 2.10 installed and mix knob turned to 0. Thanks!
