for the first time i got this error while adding video into player A

just installed Cross 3.0 + video 1.1.3

i got no controller connected now
try to add another video to my player A
transition is 'elastic'
i received this message and Cross crashed after that

never had this in Cross 2.6 and video 1.1.2

second question : when i load version 2.6 i can see also what video version is under Cross version ,this is not same here ? i can see only Cross 3.0 ?

thanks team

all my vidz are mp4
analyzed in 2.6
all vidz with /red/bad sound --->removed

if i installed video 1.1.3 at the same time /today/ like Cross 3.0
could that be the problem ?
no video projector connected ,just testing on my laptop .
do i need to re-analyze files again ?

Daniel :if you don't use video u can't help me :)

if i done something wrong i will try to fix it

thanks for that Daniel !

that's clear to me now

what about runtime error ?it looks like we (few of us users) have same runtime error while making different action
maybe i need to uninstall previous 2.6 and video plugin from my comp.
and leave only Cross 3.0 ?
thanks

 dont think the latter should interfere ,, no previous version has caused this before ,, but wait for the jury ,,,i wouldnt if you are comfortable useing 2.6 then leave it there for a emergency back up resourse ,,..just my thoughts

 have you re anyslised your collection ,,p jean said for peak only,,maybe a thought

finally re-analyze all my 11000 videos (analyzed in 2.6 a long time ago and no videos were added later !)
but i had one crash during anylyzing process
start from beginning and do folder by folder
finally when i tried to analyze one foder this message showed up
-- noticed corrupt file ..do you want to start analyzing ---
is there some crash log ,how to see what video was corrupt inside that folder
because i was analyzing one video by one after that and all was finished fine ?

if this was analyzed before what makes Cross 3.0 different to send this message ?

anyway i was re-analyzing that folder and all other and all of my videos passed test again .

till now didn't notice runtime error like before .

thanks !

If the analysis went wrong the 'analyses state' of the file is set to a expression mark ('!") in red in the collection; you can find by sorting on the state and scroll through the list. (field not always shown by default; right click on headerfields to select)

Over the last months the team resolved many filetypes (codecs etc .etc). So if you have a file that crashes make it available to the team and help all users to avoid similar crashes at 'the wrong moment'. Just try once more to analyse before sending.

The plugins of different versions should not interfere; none of the testers ever reported this as a problem, with several more versions installed.

Enjoy

looks like i'm the first one .

i have analyzed all of my files in that problematic folder twice after that message appears

analyzed all foder and again one video by one

passed without problem
and there was only one (!) in the folder where message appears
when i re-analyze that file it passed test withou problem just now.
but after that all of my (yes) index dissapeared like i never analyzed files ? i got only (?) next to all my 11000 videos ?

strange is this ? i have re-analyzed all of my 11000 videos again in 3.0 but when i look for expression mark there is (?) next to all my videos ?

how is that possible after analyzing , could it be because i was doing disc defragment yesterday ?

i need to do that process again after 2 days of analyzing ..never seen problems like that in previous versions ,never .
maybe i'm old but i'm not blind :)
