think i made an error in getting video plugin ?
Posted: 26 Dec 2013, 17:43I just spent me daughter's Christmas present/money and decided to by the video plugin to add some visuals to accompany my djing, not much info at all, so presumed it would be logical and as standard.
So I need to confirm a few things and compare to what I find as I am some what confused.
1) I was expecting to be able to load video clips yes, but was not expecting it would have to be occupying one of the existing players, this defeats the whole purpose, all I want to do is DJ and have clips/video play and mix on my HD telly, but I cant afford loose any player, so no point in having this plugin in my case if this is so - any ideas am I missing anything.
2) I find that if I use the HD television, the full visuals also display on my laptop, presumed this would have been split screen , so again kind of defeats the purpose when I cant see my DJ/audio lay out, I am just a little confused this is what I thought the purpose was TO add visuals to A DJ performance, really need help on this one, so basically the plugin is combined and very aspect is combined to Cross DJ etc no pop up/split second screen just for the video output. or do I need to change my laptop display for duel monitors and then in turn will i get the video plugin and Cross DJ then splitting ??
I may be overlooking stuff as I can find any instructions or manual or info on forums, although it looks pretty simple enough to understand, but I am thinking just maybe a little to basic at the moment, not what you I would have expected as again their was not really much technical info before purchase.
I don't mean any of this as a rant, just trying to understand what my logic say regarding this split screen and the players.
