Cross not working in OS X Maverick

I just recently upgraded my Mac OS to Maverick and I am unable to use Cross anymore. When I open it up it just loads and doesn't stop. It continually does not respond. I tried to download the latest version over and it won't install. I then tried to download the previous version 2.5.0 and it won't install either. I get an error message tha says "Cross"
can't be opened because it is from an unidentified developer. Is anyone else having this problem? Someone please help!

Go into your system preferences, under security, and enable applications from anywhere, instead of trusted developers. Should help. Might still be issues, but it won't be that issue.

I play with CrossDj on Mavericks with no probs..Mbp mid 2012,i've enabled the installation of apps from anywhere,but if you have downloaded from the App store idon't think is this the problem..

I've got massive problems. Press shift-button on my VCI400 => shutdown...I can reproduce this unexpected closing of the program.

Remove another controller (Denon Sc2900/shown as offline) => shutdown to the ground...

Techs:
2 Ghz Intel Core I7
16 GB Ram 1600 MHZ DDR3
OS: Mac OS X 10.9

All Drivers are updated (Denon and VCI).

Another problem:
Closing Cross regulary, also Mavericks say it was closed unexpected.
If you need the report, I will post it.

It was my mistake to update the OS, so I will have to wait...
BTW (Off Topic I know):
4-Deck support for the VCI would be great
