I ask which version of Flash Vfx uses, because i notice it is only able to handle very basic effects. Is there a way to upgrade the plug-in or codec it uses so we can use better graphics for logos, etc?

I know the product isn't "supported" anymore, but if there is anyone who could point me to a way of updating the internal codec pack, that would be helpful.

Yes I am also experiencing the same problem. swf files that run great in flash and in many different browsers, do not work properly in Vfx. Some bomb me right out of Mixvibes Vfx completely. Some are not even visible. Does anyone have a fix or suggestion to remedy this problem. What good is having the flash capability in the titler section if it does not work properly?
