Locked Up

CrossDJ refuses to start on my iMac. It was running fine and then I talked to tech support about why I couldn't post on the forum. My profile was updated by support to have my serial number. Now I can post topics but CrossDJ refuses to start. I removed the software, restarted my iMac, reinstalled the software and all that happens is the main window comes up and then the cursor spins and spins. I have waited an hour and then force quit the app and tried restarting. Same behaviour.

You must have in your security setting a combo box which stop "unknown editor" to do setup. This is a bug on our side and it will be corrected as soon as possible.
Unplug this security while you do your setup and put it back when finished.
Should work now.

HUH??????

You must have in your security setting a combo box which stop "unknown editor" to do setup.

What security setting where? In CDJ or the MacOS?

Unplug this security while you do your setup and put it back when finished.

Unplug this security? Again, I am not sure what you mean.

BUT.........
This works:
Start iTunes
Start CDJ

viola!!!
I've tried this repeatedly and it always works. If iTunes isn't running CrossDJ will lock up and go into never-never land where infinitely spinning beach balls live.

Thanks for the help.

Afraid not. The iTunes thing ALWAYS works. If iTunes isn't running no matter how I start CDJ it locks. But thanks for the post!
