Freeze Problem with Cross 2.4 & 2.5

I found a problem with Cross 2.4 & 2.5. Let me begin by saying I saw the same issue on my iMac as well as my Macbook Pro. On both computers I use 10.6.8 operating system. If I drag a song to one of the decks, it doesn't load but freezes the software. The only solution is to emergency shut down by holding the power button. I never saw this with any earlier versions and was wondering if anyone else has seen this problem. When I play in public I'm still using 2.3.1 without any problems. FYI, I also use a U-Mix Control Pro.

Have you tried 2.6 to see if the problem persist in the newer version.

I haven't tried 2.6 I was waiting until it was released out of beta.
