Video Plug-In, Cross, Rekordbox, HID

Hi guys.
Just of a general question regarding video use.

If i was to use Cross in HID mode and use the video plug-in, this wouldn't be an issue on say the CDJ's from Pioneer etc?

Now if i was to use Cross to set cue points etc, loops etc can these be exported onto a memory stick or usb hard drive, and be used directly on the CDJ's?

Can rekordbox handle mp4 files? If not would there be any scope of doing this?

I've been doing video work for a while, and i bought the Vfx unit and used it about twice and didnt like it. (Its still sat in the box)
And i moved over to serato scratch live, with the mix emergency plugin.

I currently use SL with the denon HC4500 controller, but would rather move over to a controller with better size jogs ect, and Cross seems to tick the boxes with numerous controllers, however i play in a couple of clubs with 2000's so would like to make it even easier.

Thoughts?

 a lot of the info is in the news page for info regarding the new rekord box sync ,, not familiar with the vid plug in to answer any of thoes issues and :?: ,, but you will need to get Cross (at the upgrade price ,,)to use hid control and since you have already regerstered your Vfx software the vid plug in is (free :?: :?: not 100% shure that hasnt changed ,, ) also check on the Pioneer site to see if the software supports mp4

Nope, no issues. The video runs separate from anything the CDJ's are doing. CDJ's do audio and control, your video card does video. Same way that Serato does it.

Yes, through rekordbox export then to the USB stick, same way you would move an iTunes playlist to CDJ usb stick.

Cannot, CDJ's only work with CD Audio/MP3/WAV/AAC/AIFF

Cross works great with anything that sends MIDI, and Pioneer CDJs in HID. You could even get your HC4500 mapped to work with Cross.
