Keyboard Mapping failures when using Spanish layout

I've managed to map almost all the commands I need on my keyboard which is in Spanish (Latinoamerican) except for this three that doesn't get recognized by Cross:
ñ { }
They are the 3 following the L.
The workaround is changing the keyboard layout to english but obviously the other keys are messed up as a side effect.
Is there something that could be done to fix this?
