Help Please

Greeting all

I recently acquired MixVibes Cross 2.5.0. I am experiencing difficulties in initial setup. I have scanned other queries on the forum with no sucess.

I am using a windows compatible notebook that meets the required specs. I am running two Pioneer CDJ 850's with the current firmware for these units. I have updated the windows driver per Pioneer's website. I am using a Pioneer DJM350 mixer.

I can allocate each CDJ to each of the decks, deck a and deck b. The problem i am experiencing is with regards to the audio ouput. I am only picking up playback from one deck through one mixer channel (CH1) at a time. so if i go to "audio settings in Cross preferences" and go to "ASIO" and select "Pioneer CDJ ASIO" under "output 1: CDJ-850L/CDJ-850-R" deck A plays, if I change to Output 2, then deck B plays, with routing set to external mixer. The whole time only channel one on my DJM is being used. Nothing is able to be played through channel 2.

Please advise if you can assist.

Many thanks

Craig

If you have 2 CDJs , the Pioneer ASIO driver should show 4 output channels. First stereo pair (first CDJ) goes to mixer channel 1, second one to mixer channel 2.

Thanks sylMV. Whilst all 4 output channel are displayed, I can only change one at a time. If I have it set on output 1: Deck A plays through channel 1 of my mixer. if I change to output 2: Deck B plays through channel 1 of my mixer.

There must be some misunderstanding here.
If you can see the four channels, you can set the first pair to output 1 and the second one to output 2.

For output 1 - I can select from the dropdown box "CDJ-850L/CDJ-850-R" , if I then go to output 2 - I can select "CDJ-850L/CDJ-850-R" but then output 1 displays "None". In other words I cannot have Output 1 and Output 2 selected simultaneously.

Then it means you only have 2 channels and not 4 channels displayed ...
That is, only one CDJ is recognized by the driver!
I have no idea why, but the issue is on the Pioneer side...
Try another USB port for the one that doesn't work.
