Hi Guys,
iam from Germany. I need help with the Pioneer DDJ-SX.
Iam use Cross 2.5.0 full version and the DDJ-SX for the first time now, but with the original 2.5 Mapping for DDJ-SX i have many problems.
- The LED from the Jogs doesnt work (iam in 2 Deck Mode!)
- The Switch from Vinyl Mode to CD-Mode doesnt work.
- The Switch from Hot Cue to Roll or Slicer, Sampler Area doesnt work.
With Serato everything is fine. But i want to use Cross.
Please give me answer!
Thank you
armin

I also have the MApping from the other guy, who has updated the Midi-Mapping for DDJ-SX (from the Post "DDJ-SX LED") but nothing. Still the same problems. No LED!
The Switch from Vinyl to CD-Mode dont work. In the Deck i see always V but when the Vinyl light on the DDJ-SX is off and i touch the Jog-Wheel the track begin to play from the start.
And how can i switch from Hot Cues to the Roll or Slicer Area???
With the original Buttons it dont work!

You need to pass the controller in generic MIDI mode ...
look at the manuel of Serato.
Please, and tell us.

I had the same problem.
Please make sure you have the latest firmware update from the Pioneer web site.
Download document "DRI1094C[1].pdf" available in your Pioneer web site.
Read (very carefully) pages 25, 26 and 27 of document to study how to set parameters on the DDJ-SX for other than Serato software and your preference for LED's
Set parameter according to page 1 of the document and link posted just before this one.
Make sure you use the latest Cross mapping for DDJ-SX which you downloaded from the DDJ-SX LED thread.
Please be very careful setting parameters it is very easy to read a document and place your hand on the wrong button thinking that you are doing it right. That is what happened to me. So pages 25, 26 and 27 on the DDJ-SX manual very important.

THANK YOU!!!
NOW IT WORKS.
Please update the Mixvibes Documentation! It would be easier with all steps to do. Two more Pictures, one from the DDJ-SX Surface in Utility-Mode and one of the Cross Surface with the right settings (Cue & MIX >i search that settings more than 20 minutes in the preferences LOL ;-)
...
1.) Set DDJ-SX to Utility Mode (hold Shift + Play/Stop-Button and then turn DDJ-SX on)
and so on...
