Hi guys,

Minimum specs used to be (for PC) a Core 2 Duo @ 1.8Ghz.
Admittedly that was a while ago but I have been away from my gear for a long time and I'm getting ready to plug everything back in. I see that the specs now ask for C2D @ 2.8Ghz.

Can you tell me with which version the bump in spec requirement happened or maybe reassure me that I should have problem with my (old) laptop?

not shure the exact time frame/version the spec bump happened ,, the spec for mine is listed in my footer ,, have little problems with the latest version,,but might be on the wrong side of the fulcrum,, best to tell you to try the latest version as you would trial a r c version till you see how it reacts ,,what is the latest version your set up was running ,,

Well I don't remember what version is the latest I have installed.

It may be 1.7 (told you I have been AFK for a while )

if the latest version you have installed is 1.7 ,,TAKE HEED ,,,back up your collection data ,,ie cue points,etc ,,, there are issues when you use the new versions ,,you cant roll back with out destroying the data ,, check tips and tut ,, cant post a link ,(job computer)

That's ok, I'll redo my collections entirely anyway as I started using Rekordbox in anticipation of that.

even better news for you ,,r c ver adressed some issues with the import of rekord box,, so if you have to upgrade your computer system,,it should be worth it
