I have the Denon mc6000, this the recognize like MIDI but not work.
What is the setting correct step by step like sound card?

could you provide us some more info of your system?
Win, or Mac?
version of Cross? (although its almost the same in all versions after 2.2 (at least this is the ver I started))....
any more info would be gratefull....

I work with win7 64bit and Cross DJ 2.5. Now i get result of the sound card putting the settings in external mixer, but not working in mode PC Mix.
At least heard, but the MIDI not working, absolutely nothing.
Any help please, will be thankful.

Try this....
go to MIDI section in preferences, locate the controller and enable it....
then, you'll see its lights on....not all, just what it needs to operate... if yes, then it's fully functional...

the three switches at the back of the unit must be:
1. PC - mac: PC
2. mixing mode: PC mix - int mix: PC mix
output source: mic - ch1/4 : ch 1/4
audio settings: output 1: ch 1-2
output 2: ch 3-4
is it like that?

input 1 : ch 1-2
input 2 : ch 3-4
dual stereo
also please check something else. above the gain knobs, are the selectors at MIDI? if no, you should put them to MIDI....

the inputs are not important. you can leave them to none.....
