A few months ago i've heard about the Pioneer HID control for Mixvibes Cross 2.0, ... a cool feature that works. ... Only, i've created my playlists in Rekordbox and now i have to start all over again to make my playlists and cue points.

It would be a great feature to import my playlists from rekordbox. Both programs are created by mixvibes but there is nog direct link between both programss. ... At the moment i've tried to export my Rekordbox library to XML and import in Cross but it doesn't seem to work.

Does anyone have a solution?

Ok, first step worked. In Rekordbox go to File and the Export.

Give it a name and a location on the harddisk, ... Rekordbox will now create an XML file.

So now, in Mixvibes Cross i've selected "File - import third party database". ... Select the XML file and something seems to happen.

... waiting to import ... 20%, ... 25%, ...

I will do that, ... as a Pioneer user i think it's very useful to find a solution for this problem. ... At this moment the import of my library is still busy in MixVibes Cross, it takes a lot of time but there about 18000 songs in my library.

... i really hope it works to import my Rekordbox playlists!

And, Cross really rocks with the key function! Sync works very fine but i only seem to have a strange thing going on, ... when i load a new track in the decks, it always sets a kind of cue in the middle of the track. It never starts at the beginning of the track.

seperate posting and a already solved sititation ,, just a matter of settings ,, get the results from the import done ,,

Here is how you can import you Rekordbox playlist in Mixvibes Cross:

1. first go to Rekordbox, ... File, Export, ... you can name the file
2. go to Mixvibes Cross, ... File, import from third party software
3. select the exported XML Recordbox file
4. Mixvibes Cross starts to import
5. All Rekordbox playlists are now imported in Mixvibes.

... And i've checked it, ... also the cue points and loops created in Rekordbox are now available in Mixvices Cross.

good work ,, change the title ,, a more knowledgable staff member will see it and we will get it moved to tips and tutorial,,,

i don't agree on the cue points "perfect" import.

everytime i export playlist information FROM rekorbox, and "import third party database" INTO Cross, things don't work in therm of cue points and beatrgrids.

after import, some tracks could be perfectly "converted", but other tracks are completely screwed up and i honestly don't understand why...
shouldn't it be an easy thing?
shouldn't be an otpion where i want my rekordbox library to superimpose grids and cue points to the Cross analyzing algorithm?

hate to hear that this is not working for you ,, in order to figure out what you have going on ,will need a bunch more info ,start with computer specs ,what hardware is being used ,also software ,,will probly be ask for sepefic files not being converted right ,, will also ask you to post a seperate topic specfic to this issue,in order to keep the info/conversations to that posting
