Hello:

I'm migrating from VirtualDJ and I can't set up my music in the way I used in VDJ because I don't understand the syntax to use dates as filters in smartlists.

What I'm tryin to do is filter the songs with X months old, this is perfectly achievable in VDJ and I'm sure it can be done in Cross, but I can't find a way nor a documentation to do it.

My guessing is that this can be done using: Date of Imports - Is In The Range - _____ to _____.

Could someone give me a hint and a working example to achieve this?.

Not even a "it can't be done right now, but as is such a good idea, we'll working on it for the next version"?

At least can I have some literature about the syntax used to filter dates?

Smartlist dates are unfortunately buggy in the current version.
There's actually no way to use them.
We've fixed them but you'll have to wait for the next update.

I'll anxiously wait but happily.

Is this in 2.6.0 RC ?

Ah awesome! I've already downloaded, installed, had a very-quick-glimpse for obvious new features applicable to myself then uninstalled.

Re-installed and I see the date function working nicely in smartlists!

Has anything else changed other than the two main features stated?

Any noticeable change is listed in the changelog you can find in the RC download page.
