Cross DJ 2.4 cue point problem

Postby Jimbosyourman on 12 Jul 2013, 19:36

Hi there having recently updated from 1.7 to 2.4 I've found I cannot create a cue point where I want it. Instead it will appear just before or just after where I want. It seems to go to the nearest best grid line. Please help how do I overcome this or shall I go back to 1.7.
Many thanks jim

You need to
1. Make sure that you are displaying the Sync Zone.
(it display right above the line faders)
Once you display the sync zone, you can see the snap and quantize settings.
From your description it sounds that you have the snap feature enabled. You can select the snap amount. With the beatgrid feature and snap on you can set loops, locators, and cue points either at the
current playback position or they can automatically snap to the next beat, next 1/2 beat, next 1/4 beat or next 1/8 beat of the tracks’ beatgrid.

2. If the snap tile is highlited, click on the snap tile to disable snap.

try to set your locator point. With snap disable it should set at the current playblack position.
