playlist is now empty, help please

I don't have a clue what here, I have all my tunes in my collection, I also made some smart lists that are still their and still play, I even saved my collection as a whole, I then noticed my playlist I have done last night for my radio show, has vanished, the playlist title is their, but its empty/blank, this happened once after I had added some new tracks to my collection, I opened and closed Cross and it was back again, so I saved a second copy of my collection just as a temp back up, but now I go back to my playlist its empty again and I can no longer get it back, even from the two saves,.

just to add in I have opened and closed my playlist and collections quite a few times and all was fine and saved, so I cant figure out now why its gone. all my tracks are still in the collection .

I am a bit baffled why the tracks are still not showing, as like in the browser, you can just relocate them, any ideas why I have no reference at all in my playlist, its empty, should their still not be the list to reference against and locate, desperate on this one as its for my show tomorrow night, I just cant do it all again if I can help.

Thanks

the only thing I can think, was that I had a load of tracks in my collection, that I found had gone missing and I ended up with duplicates in my collection after dragging them back in, so I deleted them all to save time relocating one by one which would have took far too long,I thought the play list was a reference to the collection, so if I replaced the tracks in the collection it would reference/match up to the playlist, is this not the case, if not its really disappointing.

Hey,

Could you please give us some more information like which version you use and what OS, files on an external hard drive or is something else changed at the computer?
I never had this problem so need as much information to test to reproduce or to help better.
