Crash loading songs on playlist

Which version are you running?

I had that issue with 2.3 and 2.4. What I did to fix it was remove all non-standard characters from playlists, smartplaylists, and search parameters. The ones that got me in trouble were [*] and [&]. It was confirmed to cause issues, so if you have any searches or parameters that are looking for weird characters, it could be your problem.

in the same version's as you....but i run into the same in the 2.5 RC...

Do you have odd characters in your mp3 or m4a files? I'm running 2.5 RC now. I had changed all the odd characters in my tagging scheme so that I wouldn't crash, so the problem is gone because of change on my tagging end, not on the software end.
