Windows 8 and Crosspack

When ever I plug my soundcard into my windows 8 laptop, either the laptop crashes instantly and shows a huge ':(' and then restarts. If this doesn't happen then I can hear the high pitch noise of the timecode vinyl underneath the music.

new a little bit more info as to your se up , ie sound card ,what audio routing ,, what spec is the computer,, the info is lacking to give postive feed back with a solution
