Dear Developer team and all users of Mixvibes Cross.

I found under this Link:
http://www.notebookcheck.com/Acer-Aspir ... 947.0.html
a new Notebook Generation with a touch screen. So if you will see this video i think after my comment you will understand what i talking about.
I always seen that all kind of DJ software manufactures are based here extra equipment and hi tech solution to control the software on a Apple system. So why?
I think when wee see now the last month about new kind of developing in point of Apple. Sorry i mean they have stand still now. I the same way when i wil follow now the the developing other notebook company's each month you will see new and grate intuitive solutions. Such a notebook like that behind this link.

So my question now is why it is not possible to create a new kind of possibility that also Windows user can Use touchscreen to work inside or with a kind of DJ Software. As shown on this Acer R7, i mean it can be possible to design a special screen with some of most used buttons as example Loops , Cue points or samples. If you use than the touchscreen you have a Tablet and your Notebook in one device. Without any other hardware such Router Wlan and so on. So in my opinion as a vinyl DJ that use the controller only as an effect and loop machine this will be grate. I start my track load the second one mix with vinyl and than i switch over with a simple button to my extra touch surface where i can click fast and simple all my effects loops and so on. If this will be integrated inside of our Software, Mixvibes will give all Windows Users more and more flexibility and option to work with the software without any extra expensive Hardware or Software.
I be sad about all those Apple fanatics and i cant understand why all solution will only based on this factory.
I mean Mixvibes starts with the decision to be other to be new an different. So this will be an point where we can reach so many users that Mixvibes will be a top product where all hardware developers will design an produce there products for Mixvibes Software.

I hope i find the right words that you can understand what i will say. So i hope i will get any answer and maybe a little wink that shows me something can happened in such this way in future.

Thanks Poertsch

I think this is more a feature request than a need for technical support. ;)

That aside, I do like the idea of a touch screen interface, I'm already using Cross remote, and Air Display for a variety of things... and they work quite well.

There's also a Lemur mapping for Cross that's supposed to be really sweet.

I've used touch screens off and on and they're nice but lack the tactile feedback of a controller or actual device.

Thanks for your answers.

My Idea is in beginning you start Cross normal load your collection. Than you start mixing deepens what kind of PC or Notebook you use.
So now you are in your mixing session than you have an button where the most necessary functions be sized bigger that you can use your PC direct as an Controller.
It means in the moment when you have an 13 inc 1920x 1080 resolution screen. Wow how small are the buttons. Ok now you switch over an only Track line and the most important buttons like Cue, Sample or Effects wills shown and you select them on your screen.
That was my Idea for use it in for my Style in mixing.

Greetings Poertsch

You asked about lemur...

It was originally a piece of dedicated hardware but it's since evolved into an app:

There has been some work surrounding using it to control Cross...
