Im having a strange problem with the video plugin , im using a uk professional video compny called Promo only , im playing their videos in Cross DJ , they play ok the first time, but the second time I play them , the video has gone and all im left is with the audio of the track.

I am not playing these files in any other playout software , but I have tried other files in Pcdj and Virtual DJ and they work fine in that. the videos are mp4 coded in hd .

This is happening with any of their videos. after speaking to David at promo only he tells me other customers have had the same problems and you sent a update that cured this problem. This is happening on my 2013 mac book pro and My sony vaio. please can you help.

This is with the current released version to ther public not a beta .

Can i have some infos about your videos ?

Resolution, codec, fps....

And also let us know if they're off the Promo Only Pool service - and which format you're pulling down, or if they're from the DVD's. And if they're from the DVD's, how you converted, etc.

In the meantime, I'll see if I can replicate this with the hi-res videos from the Promo Only Pool service...

Using the Promo Only Pool service and downloading HD 720p mp4's - I can't replicate this issue.

If the track loads in the 'leader' section of the track, I do get a black screen, but once I hit the audio/video it brings in the screen properly. This is before the beginning of track marker though... and it happened on a couple different tracks.

The tracks were from the Club Video April 2013 offering and I used the first half dozen or so. Varying from allowing them to play all the way through to only playing part way and reloading back to back and after playing another track.

The track I used was 'Years' by Alesso f. Matthew Koma with a 4:12 duration. That track's info is as follows:

Hope this helps... but unfortunately, I just couldn't replicate the problem.

If you have a specific track giving you problems let me know and if it's from within the last year or so I should have it and can try that video on my end specifically.

Problem solved in 2.4

That would explain why I didn't have a problem.
