Pitch bend VS Smart seek : manual beatmatching

Hi,
When using Mixvibes to play back to back with another DJ, I am wondering which of this option is the best for beatmatching.
lets say the tempo has already been set at the same speed than the other DJ, then cue/play the track at the right moment, but still need some manual adjustement as we will naturaly do with Cdj or Vinyl in order to exactly beatmatching the 2 tracks. Which function is better to be used:
the smart seek forward/backward button (set on CD)
or
the pitch bend up/down (if pitch bend up/down what is the best value at which we should set up this function in preference, 1% is ok or too low?)

thanks for your support

(till now I've always used smart seek function set on CD mode, but it seems sometimes it's not 100% accurate)

I would recommend using pitch bend @1%. Holding the pitch bend button longer continues to add the 1%. So basically, the 1% if a fine enough amount to do accurate minor adjustments by doing short quick presses. Holding the button down longer will allow you to "push" or "drag" the track into sync from as far as 4 beats out. I use 1% & find it to be the ideal balance.

Smart seek is only a "jump" based on tempo/grid. So even with slight misalignement it won't align, it will kept misaligned.

Thanks for your answers.
Yes indeed, pitch bend is exactly was I was looking for.
Actually, I have been misleaded by the word "CD" on the smart seek function: I was thinking it was supposed to do the job that the joggwheels are doing as in a CDJ !
Pitch bend works perfectly.
