Cross problem with cue/play and timecode vinyl

Hi,
I am using Cross 2.3 with timecode MV vinyls, with MacBookpro and MOTU ultralite MK3.
I also use novation dicer for one reason: to add the possibility to use the cue/play button.
But when I use the cue/play button while my vinyl are spinning, sometimes there is a delay between the time I push the cue/play button and the exact moment when the player will cue/play the song. I notice that if I cue/play the button in the "middle" of a Bar (or a Beat), Mixvibes will wait that the Bar (or the beat) is completed before to actually cue/play the track, which is particularly annoying when playing in Back to back with other Djs.
This problem does not happen if I don't use the Vinyl mode and just use Mixvibes with MIDI controller to cue/play a track.
Do you have any ideas where the problem come from ?

What you describe is the beahavior and teh purpose of the "quantize" feature. I guess you want to disable it (in th emiddle of your Cross screen, above the Cross mixer).

Sounds like you have "snap" or "quantize" enabled.
Snap will definitely give you a "delay" when pressing the button mid-beat / bar. Also what mode are you using your timecode in? Relative or Absolute? I "think" if you are in absolute mode when you press the dicer buttons, the software could possibly take a moment or two to switch to relative mode before the button press is actually carried out (I could be wrong about this though).
Snap is more than likely the culprit!
Oops - I didn't see the previous post - Quantize then!

Guys, you are the best

Yes, it's only recently that I've updated from 1.7 to 2.3 version and I did not notice this quantize function.

cheers
